The 2026 2nd International Conference on Engineering Management and Safety Engineering Concluded Successfully

On March 20, 2026, the 2026 2nd International Conference on Engineering Management and Safety Engineering, jointly supported by Chang'an University and the School of Civil Engineering and Geomatics at Southwest Petroleum University, was successfully held online. The conference brought together experts and scholars from numerous universities and research institutes across China to engage in in-depth exchanges and discussions on the latest research achievements and cutting-edge technologies in the fields of engineering management and safety engineering, promoting academic advancement and practical applications in these areas.

The conference featured three distinguished keynote speakers who presented cutting-edge research and insights in their respective fields.

Prof. Jingxiao Zhang, Chang'an University, China
Speech Title: Major project digital intelligence platform embedded in suspension : Theoretical evolution, analytical framework and future prospects
Prof. Jingxiao Zhang from Chang'an University delivered an insightful presentation titled “Major Project Digital Intelligence Platform Embedded in Suspension: Theoretical Evolution, Analytical Framework and Future Prospects”, offering a comprehensive analysis of the application and development trends of digital intelligent platforms in large-scale engineering projects.

Prof. Yibin Ao from Chengdu University of Technology shared his thoughts on “The Development of Construction Management and Interdisciplinary Research”, providing multi-dimensional perspectives and innovative approaches to construction management science.

Lect. Yuanyuan Lei, SouthWest Petroleum University, China
Speech Title: Dynamic Response Collaborative Decision-making for Emergency Rescue of Major Railway Projects in China
Lect. Yuanyuan Lei from Southwest Petroleum University presented research on “Dynamic Response Collaborative Decision-making for Emergency Rescue of Major Railway Projects in China”, highlighting the critical role of collaborative decision-making in emergency response scenarios.
In addition to the keynote speeches, 12 young scholars from institutions including Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering, Shanghai Maritime University, Guangxi University, Southwest University of Science and Technology, Harbin Engineering University, and Changzhou University delivered oral reports. Their presentations covered a wide range of topics such as disaster prevention and mitigation planning for mountain villages, construction and application of knowledge graphs for helicopter rescue incidents at offshore wind farms, design and performance of bridge anti-ship collision structures, reinforcement effects of H-type anti-slide pile joints under seismic loading, and so on.
